Here's a peek behind the curtain, if you didn't already know. When you start building a DFS lineup, the first place to look is the expected point total from Las Vegas. The higher the point total, the better the likelihood of standout Fantasy production.
For Week 3, the highest expected point total is 54 between the Chargers and Vikings. So, if you can, you want to roster as many players in that game as possible.
Now, there are other games that should be high-scoring affairs, including Denver-Miami (48 points), Chicago-Kansas City (48 points), Atlanta-Detroit (46 points) and Philadelphia-Tampa Bay (46 points). These games should also produce good Fantasy outings.
But I'm going to lean on the Chargers and Vikings for a couple of my lineups here. I love a lot of the players in this game, and they'll likely be popular. But you just need to be creative with the other players in your lineup to have success, which is what we'll hopefully illustrate here.
Here are two DFS lineups for you to play on DraftKings and FanDuel for the Week 3 slate. On DraftKings, this is one of the lineups I'll be using in the $3.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire tournament. For FanDuel, here's one of my lineups for the $2M NFL Sunday Million tournament.
I hope by the time Monday gets here we're all celebrating in a big way. But, just remember, even if you only win a small amount, you're still adding to your bankroll for the season.
