The 24th-ranked UConn Huskies will look to cool off the 18th-ranked Marquette Golden Eagles when they meet in a key Big East Conference matchup on Tuesday night. The Huskies (15-6, 6-4) will look to snap a two-game skid, while the Golden Eagles (16-7, 8-4) will look to win their ninth in 10 games.

Tipoff from XL Center in Hartford, Conn., is set for 6:30 p.m. ET. UConn is favored by 6.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 139.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Marquette vs. UConn picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $2,300 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Huskies feature a balanced scoring attack with six players averaging 7.1 points or better. Senior guard R.J. Cole has been scorching hot of late, and is coming off a 25-point, four-assist effort in the loss at Villanova on Saturday. It was the fourth consecutive game he has reached double-figure scoring and the second time in two games he scored 25. In the first meeting against Marquette, Cole poured in 20 points, while dishing out seven assists. For the season, Cole is averaging 16.4 points, 4.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. He is also connecting on 88.8 percent of his free throws.

The model also knows the Golden Eagles have been on a tear and are within striking distance of the top spot in the Big East. Redshirt freshman Justin Lewis is a big part of the reason for that. He leads the Golden Eagles in scoring (16.6 points) and rebounding (7.9), while also averaging 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He has reached double-figure scoring in each of the last nine games, including a 33-point performance in a 73-63 win at Seton Hall on Jan. 26, and in 21 games on the year. He has five double-doubles, and poured in 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the first game against UConn.

Now, it has set its sights on Marquette vs. UConn. It is leaning Over on the total and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
