The NFL offseason has officially ended as the New York Jets, stars of the upcoming season of "Hard Knocks," became the first team to have both veterans and rookies show up to training camp on Wednesday – Aaron Rodgers' first camp with his new team. The Jets were allowed to report early because they will face the Cleveland Browns in the Hall of Fame Game preseason opener on Aug. 3, two weeks from Thursday night. Browns rookies have reported to camp, but Cleveland's veterans won't be in until Friday. Let's take a look at some updated Jets futures odds and props available as they will surely be in the NFL spotlight today.

As usual, the team is holding camp at its training center in Florham Park, N.J. The 39-year-old Rodgers was officially acquired by the Jets in April after 18 seasons in Green Bay. He's +1600 at BetMGM to win his fifth regular-season MVP, which would tie a record held by Peyton Manning.

Rodgers, who isn't among the MVP betting action leaders at the book, is coming off one of his worst seasons with the Packers, but certainly has a better group of receivers in New York with reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson, former Packers Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, and former Chiefs burner Mecole Hardman Jr.

Did you know that Rodgers has never led the NFL in passing yards in a season? His career high was 4,643 in 2011 when he won his first MVP. Last year, he slipped to 3,695, his fewest in a full season. Rodgers' 26 touchdown passes in 2022 were his second-fewest when playing at least 16 games. He has led the NFL in passing TDs twice: 48 in 2020 and 40 in 2016. Rodgers has never come close to leading the league in picks. His career high was 13 in 2008, and he had 12 last year.

Here are some additional 2023 Rodgers props, via DraftKings:

    • To lead NFL in passing yards: +2000
    • To have at least 4,000 passing yards: -105
    • Over/Under 3,950.5 passing yards: Both -110
    • To lead NFL in passing TDs: +650
    • Over/Under 28.5 TD passes: Under -115 favorite
    • To lead NFL in interceptions: +5000
    • Rodgers to throw for 4,000 yards and Jets to make playoffs: +160
    • Rodgers with at least four rushing TDs and Jets win 10+ games: +250
    • Rodgers with at least 31 passing TDs and Jets win AFC East: +300

The Jets haven't won the AFC East since 2002 and are +250 second favorites behind Buffalo (+130) at BetMGM. The Bills are taking the most tickets at 25.6%, but New York the highest handle at 29.2% and the book is exposed on Gang Green. Those teams open the season in New Jersey on Monday night in Week 1, with Buffalo currently -1.5.

The Jets' O/U win total is set at 9.5, and you can match bet the total against a handful of teams at DK. They are -265 favorites, for example, against the Giants (+200) even though Big Blue won nine last year and the Jets won seven.

Here are DK's exact Jets season results, all yes-only:

    • To miss playoffs: +110
    • To lose in Wild Card round: +275
    • To lose in Divisional round: +425
    • To lose in AFC title game: +1000
    • To win Super Bowl: +1800
    • To lose in Super Bowl: +2000

No team has won the Super Bowl the season it played in the Hall of Fame Game. The Jets are +1.5 against Cleveland for the exhibition, with Rodgers not expected to play. More than half the teams that have played in the Canton game missed that season's playoffs. Las Vegas beat Jacksonville last year in the exhibition. The Jaguars made the playoffs despite starting the regular season 3-7, while the Raiders did not.
