The rumor mill is whirring in Ann Arbor, with disappointment in Juwan Howard now a hot topic throughout Wolverine country. Howard has done nothing to dissuade his detractors as Michigan has buried itself at the bottom of the Big Ten, at the same time burying it backers, with the Wolverines also a ghastly 4-20 vs. the spread since the Friday of Thanksgiving week. In the past we would have been reluctant to back Fred Hoiberg's Cornhuskers on the road, and this edition has won just once on the Big Ten trail, but Nebraska also seems ticketed for the Dance after Hoiberg worked the portal shrewdly (G Brice Williams via Charlotte, F Rienk Mast from Bradley), and recently dumped Michigan by 20 at Lincoln.
