The Nittany Lions are a few baskets away from a four-game win streak after a narrow loss (but another cover) on Sunday vs. Northwestern, and first-year HC Mike Rhoades clearly has his troops on the upswing. Interestingly, Penn State has made its recent move without much help from top scorer Kanye Clary (17.1 ppg), who missed a couple of games and has contributed little in his two games since returning to active duty. One of the portal adds who accompanied Rhoades from VBCU, G Ace Baldwin, continues in top form (19 ppg last four), while Tom Izzo has lost four of five on the Big Ten trail (with the only win by 2 points at Minnesota).
