Jonathan Coachman rounds up standout sports betting experts Mike McClure and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The team delivers their favorite picks on a busy schedule of college basketball, NBA, NHL and NASCAR for Monday, March 29.

Before running down their Monday selections, the guys delve into NBA futures. It's no surprise that the Nets are now favored to win the NBA title, especially since they have played well when some of their superstars have missed time. Mike is focused on a more bold call, though, as he sees Portland surprising and overtaking Utah in the Northwest Division. Zack likes the value on Denver as a pick to win the Western Conference. He believes the addition of Aaron Gordon can only help boost a Nuggets team that made a lot of noise in the playoffs last season. The Coach provides sensible reasoning on why the Lakers should be avoided at all costs.

The Coach then drops the puck on Monday's picks. He starts with the SportsLine Play of the Day, taking the Penguins -110 over the Islanders at 7 p.m. ET. New York simply has not fared well vs. Pittsburgh in recent meetings.

In the Elite Eight, Mike is on Baylor -7.5 over Arkansas at 9:57 p.m. ET. He says Arkansas just isn't good enough offensively to prevail, and Baylor's stellar backcourt will be a major difference-maker. In the NBA, he is taking the Pacers -7.5 over the Wizards at 7 p.m. ET. Later in the show, the Coach also reminds listeners of Mike's picks for the Food City Dirt Race, now at 4 p.m. ET on Monday. Kurt Busch is going to be outdone by a dirt track ace.

Zack is riding with Oregon State +7.5 over Houston at 7:15 p.m. ET. " I know Houston has a dominant defense. They were fantastic against Syracuse. But Syracuse self-destructed more than anything else," he says. "Oregon State is a more diverse, balanced team offensively. It's going to be hard to limit them and Houston is prone to droughts. Oregon State also has the upperclassmen to match Houston." Zack also sprinkles in an extra motivational factor for one of the Beavers' key players. in the NBA, Zack is taking Tyrese Haliburton to go Over 13.5 points in Kings-Spurs at 8:30 p.m. ET.
