Today's picks: Featured NBA player props, plus college basketball futures and more NBA, NHL plays for Monday

Jonathan Coachman teams up with top sports betting experts Mike McClure, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The guys deliver their favorite bets for the NBA  and NHL for Monday March 15. They also look ahead with college basketball futures. 

Leading off the SportsLine storylines of the day, Mike provides a comprehensive NBA injury rundown, including the Knicks and Nets in a New York showdown, the Nuggets dealing with issues on the perimeter, and the Lakers continuing to cope with key absences. 

Zack and Larry then launch into their NCAA Tournament futures. Zack likes the path laid out for Alabama to win the East region. He notes a challenging first round matchup with Iona, but if the Crimson Tide check that box, they should enjoy smooth sailing the rest of the way. Larry is on Gonzaga to keep rolling right through the West regionals, as it has an easy road to do so. He cites emotion and coaching as primary reasons why he believes Texas will prevail in the East. 

The Coach offers up the SportsLine Pick of the day, backing the Flames -115 over the Oilers at 9 p.m. ET. 

Mike takes the bounce pass from the Coach to start off the NBA picks for Monday, beginning with the Pacers as the "Dog of the Day" +5 over the Nuggets at 9 p.m. ET, reminding us of Denver's injury problems. In the featured late West Coast game, he is taking the more healthy Warriors at +2.5  over the Lakers. 

Zack then dives into player props, beginning with the Nets' Joe Ingles under 12.5 points in Nets-Knicks at 8 p.m. ET. He believes Ingles will be in for a tough night vs. the New York defense. He doubles down on Richaun Holmes, going Over 14.5 points and Over 9.5 rebounds in Kings-Hornets at 7 p.m. ET. "He's playing like a player that will be a free agent in the offseason. He's averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds in the month of March. Also, his shots per game have went way up," Zack says, providing some interesting detailed trends. "I love the way he is playing right now and I think he keeps his momentum going."

Larry likes the Hornets at -3.5 over the Kings, as Charlotte will continue its winning ways in front of some fans. He is also is going with James Harden Over 8.5 rebounds, pointing out that the Nets superstar has gone over that number in seven of his last nine games and adding some more nuggets that back the selection up.
