Boston could be without two starters Tuesday at Utah, which will be missing point guard Mike Conley.

Do William Hill Sportsbook NBA oddsmakers know whether Boston Celtics second-leading scorer Jaylen Brown will sit or not Tuesday night at Utah due to injury? Brown is listed as questionable, but the spread for this game has seen the Jazz rise from 4.5-point favorites to -5.5 in the past hour or so. It could be that bettors are simply hammering Utah on the chance Brown sits. For sure out Tuesday are Boston guard Marcus Smart and Jazz point guard Mike Conley. That's about a wash. See the SportsLine Projection Model's picks for this game.

Brown, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, is having a breakout season and will be an All-Star for the first time as he's 12th in the NBA in scoring at 26.4 ppg and frankly is having a better year than All-Star teammate Jayson Tatum. While Tatum is averaging 27.0 points, Brown is the better all-around player – especially on defense. He has an ESPN player efficiency rating of 24.48 and Tatum 22.41.

Boston has played its past two without Brown due to left knee soreness, winning Friday at the Clippers but losing Sunday in Phoenix. Coach Brad Stevens said Brown was "trending in the right direction" on Sunday so he might be out there. Tuesday concludes a five-game West Coast trip. Smart (13.1 ppg, 6.1 apg) hasn't played since Jan. 30 due to a left calf tear, and he's definitely missed on the defensive end.

Conley didn't have a great first season with Utah following a trade from Memphis but has been much better this year in averaging 16.5 points, 5.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game (latter two both team bests). However, he left Friday's game with a right hamstring injury and sat out Sunday's win at Indiana – Utah's fourth straight victory and 15th in the past 16. Conley will sit again.

Utah has the best record in the NBA at 19-5 and best against the spread record at 17-7, yet William Hill still lists the Jazz as only +1600 sixth favorites to win their first NBA title. Utah is a heavy -350 favorite to win the Northwest Division – yes, there are still divisions in the NBA. The Jazz are the lone team in the NBA to rank in the top five in both offensive rating (115.0) and defensive rating (107.0).

The Jazz and Celtics split last season, each winning on the road. Utah is 8-1 ATS in its past nine at home this season.
