Gulfstream Park's early Pick 4 on Thursday begins at 1:35 p.m. ET with Race 2 and ends with Race 5. Before you make any picks, you NEED to know how racing insider and accomplished horseplayer Bob Weir has handicapped the four-race sequence.

Based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Weir has been handicapping and following horse racing since reading Andy Beyer's landmark handicapping book "Picking Winners" in the late 1980s. Davis Stakes, he gave out the $.50 superfecta, which paid $150.75. Last month Weir correctly pegged Wells Bayou to win the Louisiana Derby.

And he nailed the late Pick 4 at Gulfstream Park on both April 9 and April 10, hitting for $827.65 and $394.65, respectively. Anyone who has followed Weir this year is WAY UP.

"If this 4-year-old gelding is able to transfer his early speed to dirt, he may be the controlling speed as there is limited speed signed on," Weir told SportsLine. He has designated Crupi's Pizza Dom as an "A" horse on his Pick 4 tickets.
