A star-studded showdown is set to take place on Friday when the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes (11-1) take on the No. 9 Missouri Tigers (10-2) in the 2023 Cotton Bowl Classic. Ohio State won its first 11 games of the year before dropping a 30-24 decision at Michigan on Nov. 25, Missouri, meanwhile, ended its regular season with a three-game winning streak that included a 48-14 triumph at Arkansas in its finale.

Kickoff at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is set for 8 p.m. ET. The Buckeyes are 5-point favorites in the latest Ohio State vs. Missouri odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 51. Ohio State is the -207 favorite (risk $207 to win $100) on the money line, while Missouri is the +170 underdog (see up-to-date odds for every upcoming game on our college football odds page).

Before you make any Missouri vs. Ohio State picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from SportsLine's proven computer model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a strong profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It entered bowl season a profitable 13-9 on top-rated spread picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns!

The model knows that without Kyle McCord (transfer), Ohio State will be relying on sophomore quarterback Devin Brown to run the offense. Brown has completed 12-of-22 attempts for 197 yards with two touchdowns and an interception this season but hasn't made an appearance since the Buckeyes' 20-12 triumph over Penn State on Oct. 21 and last attempted a pass in the team's 41-7 win at Purdue a week earlier. With Marvin Harrison Jr. possibly out, Brown's top targets could be senior tight end Cade Stover (41 catches, 576 yards, 5 touchdowns) and junior wideout Emeka Egbuka (35, 452, 4).

The model also is aware that Missouri figures to have all of its top offensive players on the field on Friday. Junior quarterback Brady Cook has thrown for 3,189 yards and 20 touchdowns this season while also running for 253 yards and eight scores. Sophomore wideout Luther Burden III has been Cook's favorite target as he has hauled in 83 passes for 1,197 yards and eight TDs, and senior running back Cody Schrader is fourth in the nation with 1,489 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.

Now, the model has set its sights on Friday's Ohio State vs. Missouri matchup in Cotton Bowl Classic 2023. We can tell you it is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits over 50% of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks!
