There's so much variance in games with nothing really on the line. So, much like we did when sorting through the opening lines, we're drilling down on games where things are at stake and there is a competitive purpose for both clubs, even if only in a spoiler capacity against a primary rival.

If you're into exploring the data on players who are within shouting distance of lucrative contract incentives, that can be a wise way to go this time of the year with the market limited in the number of games with outcomes that truly matter. I didn't come up with too many within reason to follow up on once the prop markets fully populate, but there are a few. Also keep an eye on potential free-agent quarterbacks who have not had a chance to play much, and whose coaches might feature them a bit to boost their stock and give agents some decent film to shop around in the offseason.
