Rostering a player in your Fantasy lineup dealing with an injury always comes with some risk, so don't make the final call until you see what SportsLine NFL injury analyst Dr. Brandon Bowers has to say.

Dr. Bowers, a Doctor of Physical Therapy currently practicing in the outpatient orthopedic setting on northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, completed his undergraduate work at Siena Heights University. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Toledo.

He is currently employed by Athletico Physical Therapy and treats a high volume of high school and collegiate athletes in the clinical setting. He's worked previously for a host of different websites serving as an injury analyst, publishing weekly columns, appearing on podcasts and radio shows to provide injury content.

He's broken down some of the most notable injuries heading into Week 2 and here's what he had to say about Joe Mixon's (ankle) outlook.

"On Wednesday, the Bengals indicated that Mixon did not practice and his ankle is improving; this means his status for Week 2 remains in question," Dr. Bowers said. "If he is able to steadily increase his practice participation today and tomorrow, there is a good chance he will be able to play on Sunday. Re-injury concern is low to moderate moving forward."

Dr. Bowers is also breaking down what challenges Tyreek Hill (shoulder) and Nick Foles (clavicle) face in their rehab, and has an in-depth look at Derrius Guice's second knee injury in as many years. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his breakdowns before making any Fantasy decisions.
