Unless you've got a roster stacked with high-end pitchers you'll start against any matchup, you'll probably need to keep a close eye on the schedule as you get ready to set your lineup for the upcoming week. You'll need to know which of your starters have bad matchups, which are set for two starts in the upcoming week, and which fringe-y options might just be worth going out to grab on waivers.

Which is why you'll definitely want to check out SportsLine's weekly pitching Start 'Em & Sit 'Em chart from William Dubiel. A 15-year Fantasy veteran, Dubiel got his start in Fantasy baseball and has done work for Rotoballer, Metro US and multiple other outlets during his career. He was named the No. 4 MLB Ranker for the 2017 MLB season, so if there's anybody who can give you an edge in your Fantasy baseball league, it's him.

Now, he's helping you set your pitching lineup each week. William goes through every starting pitcher matchup for the upcoming week, making start and sit picks for each game. Here are three of William's calls for Week 7:

    • Daniel Norris is going to line up for two starts this week, and I like him as a cheap streaming option. Thanks to a myriad of injuries, the former top prospect has certainly fallen from grace in recent years, but he's back healthy with the Tigers this year and should have a pretty long leash with Matt Moore done for the season. Norris has only made three starts along with three relief appearances, but in that extremely limited sample he's shown the best walk ratio of his career (7.1%). His 3.47 ERA is backed up by a disappointing 4.52 SIERA, likely due to his low strikeout numbers thus far. Still, neither the Angels (13th in total runs scored) or the Twins (14th in runs scored) scare me enough to fade Norris in a two-start week.
    • I feel like Martin Perez has been in the league for eight or nine years, but he's still just 28 years old. Perez was talked about a bit during the preseason due to a decent jump in velocity, but he began the season in the Minnesota bullpen. Unfortunately for any investors, he amassed a hideous 7.56 ERA through his first three appearances. Since moving into the starting rotation though, Perez has shown significant improvement in the control department, which was one of the biggest flaws in his early outings. Through four starts, he's got a sparkling 2.08 ERA, and is currently rocking the best strikeout percentage of his career (20.4%). Could be those extra couple MPH on the fastball, but regardless of how it's happening you'll want to start him this week as he draws the Tigers and the Blue Jays.
    • Those who drafted Mike Foltynewicz were undoubtedly itching to get him back into lineups when he returned from the IL on April 27th, but through two starts he's been disastrous. He's given up six earned through just 8.2 innings in those two starts, and he's already allowed three homers. I'm not suggesting Foltynewicz won't figure it out sooner rather than later and pitch up to the expectations that made him a top-30 SP on draft day. But this simply isn't going to be the week. The 27-year-old righty will be on the road against the Dodgers in his first start, and then he'll get the Diamondbacks on Sunday — again on the road. The Dodgers and D'backs are second and fifth in the majors in runs scored respectively, so the risk is real. Give Folty one more week on the bench before deploying him.
