Finding the perfect addition to your Fantasy baseball team via the waiver wire is the key to winning in any Fantasy league, but if it were easy, anyone could do it. And if you're searching for a hitter to round out your Fantasy baseball lineup, you absolutely need to see what SportsLine's Fantasy expert Alex Chamberlain has to say.

Chamberlain is a 5-time Fantasy Sports Writers Association award finalist and was recognized as 2015's Newcomer of the Year and 2018's Fantasy Baseball Writer of the Year. He competes in Tout Wars and contributes (other) work online at RotoGraphs and in print in Lindy's Sports annual Fantasy Baseball magazines. Previous bylines include Baseball Prospectus and Rotoballer. If there's anybody who knows what it takes to win a league, it's him.

Now, he's done an in-depth analysis of the best hitters who are widely available entering Week 6. One we'll give away: Blue Jays first baseman Rowdy Tellez, who's available in over 80 percent of CBS Sports Leagues.

"It appears Tellez has forced the Blue Jays' hand, wiggling his way into the lineup on almost a daily basis," Chamberlain said. "There's a lot of miss in his swing but hitting for his kind of power comes with the territory. Per Statcast/Baseball Savant, among 248 hitters with at least 40 batted ball events (BBEs), Tellez ranks 37th in barrels per plate appearance (Brls/PA %), 33rd in hard-hit rate (Hard%), 24th in barrels per BBE (Brls/BBE %), 18th in average exit velocity, 11th in average batted ball distance, and, perhaps most interestingly, 7th in sweet spot percentage (SwSp%, the percentage of batted balls within an optimal range of launch angles). The most important takeaway is no matter which way you slice it, Tellez provides the thump."

Chamberlain has also identified which hitters you should target on waivers if you need a jolt for your squad, including an undervalued player who's poised for a breakout. Anyone who adds this player could hit it BIG.
