Washington State made a statement to teams in the Pac-12 and the rest of college football with its 30-27 home victory against the USC Trojans.

This was the Cougars first win against a top-five team in 14 years. The win also snapped USC’s 13-game winning streak.

As a result of the victory, the Cougars climbed from 16th to 11th in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Washington State hasn't climbed this high in the polls since the 2003 season, when they went 10-3, but they don’t get much time to celebrate this achievement.

The Cougars travel to Eugene, OR to face an Oregon team that is undefeated at home this season.

However, Oregon’s starting quarterback Justin Herbert is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after suffering a fractured collarbone in Saturday’s 45-24 win over Cal.

Oregon is hoping to avoid its third consecutive loss to its Pac-12 North foe. Last year, the Cougars dominated the Ducks by a final score of 51-33.

Utah, who is coming off a bye week after its road win at Arizona, will look to improve on its 4-0 record when they host Stanford on Saturday.

Utah’s defense will have its hands full trying to contain Stanford running back Bryce Love. Love set a Stanford single-game record with 301 rushing yards and three touchdowns last week in a 34-24 win over Arizona State.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulated college football games 10,000 times and came up with final scores and projected player statistics.
