The regular season is a ways from concluding, but the ACC championship picture will be crystal clear after this Saturday.

Two huge matchups will provide the Atlantic and Coastal divisions with leaders for the stretch run leading up to the league title game.

Clemson, which is still in contention in defense of its national championship, needs a win at North Carolina State on Saturday. The sixth-ranked Tigers are 7-1 and 5-1 in the ACC -- thanks to a surprising loss at Syracuse.

The No. 20 Wolfpack are 4-0 in the conference, and a win Saturday gives them a two-game lead in the loss column in the Atlantic.

In the Coastal, No. 9 Miami (Fla.) is unbeaten overall and in the ACC, and will host No. 13 Virginia Tech (7-1, 3-1), which has a home loss to Clemson on its resume.

Miami hasn’t been dominant, but hasn’t been beaten, either. Its last four wins are by a combined 18 points, including a nailbiter last week against hapless North Carolina.

Oddsmakers have the road Hokies as a slight favorite to upend the Hurricanes. The winner controls its own destiny to get to the ACC title game.
