West Ham United host Chelsea on Sunday in a London derby as the teams try to get into the flow of the English Premier League seasons after 1-1 draws in their openers. Chelsea come in with some confidence after a strong showing in their draw with Liverpool, while the Hammers appear to have some work to do after letting off the gas against Bournemouth. West Ham finished 14th last season, one spot ahead of Bournemouth, while Chelsea were 12th, their worst finish in almost 30 years.

Kickoff at London Stadium is set for 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday. The latest West Ham vs. Chelsea odds list the Blues as +107 favorites, with West Ham +250 underdogs. A draw is priced at +240, and the over/under for total goals scored is 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you make any Chelsea vs. West Ham picks, you'll want to see the English Premier League predictions from SportsLine soccer insider Jim Holliman.

Holliman has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and grew up with soccer in his blood. He played competitively through high school and has been following the game closely since the 1970's heyday of the North American Soccer League. His interest has expanded worldwide, and his betting approach is centered on crunching the numbers, but he sees the whole field and relies on his instinct.

Since the 2022 World Cup, Holliman has been profitable across multiple leagues, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Bundesliga. He went 21-10 -- bringing a profit of $1,147 for $100 bettors -- on his Champions League predictions last season.

Holliman knows Chelsea looked like a much-improved team last week under new manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentinian demands intensity, and that was evident against Liverpool. The Blues held the ball for 65% of the match and put four of 10 shots on target while the Reds had just one on net. Newcomer Axel Disasi scored the equalizer before halftime and Chelsea stifled the potent Liverpool attack and easily could have gotten the full three points.

But Holliman also has considered that the Hammers are 4-2-2 in their past eight home matches against Chelsea. They also ended last season with consecutive home victories, one of those against Manchester United. Jarrod Bowen, who had six goals and five assists last season, gave West Ham the lead early in the second half last week against Bournemouth. Then manager David Moyes chose to defend, and the Cherries came alive and got the equalizer in the 81st minute.

Now, Holliman has taken an in-depth look at Sunday's West Ham vs. Chelsea matchup and locked in his picks. He is going Under 2.5 Goals and has revealed two other confident best bets. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own.
