The Bob Baffert-trained Country Grammer will try to break a two-race skid and return to the winner's circle when he leaves the starting gate in the 2022 Awesome Again Stakes on Saturday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. The winner of the Dubai World Cup and more than $11 million in his career, Country Grammer has finished second in his last two starts. For Saturday he is the 8-5 morning-line favorite in the 2022 Awesome Again odds. Royal Ship is the 3-1 second choice in the eight-horse Awesome Again Stakes field, while Express Train is 7-2. Post time for the Grade 1 race is 7:08 p.m. ET.
