Masters champion Dustin Johnson is among the elite players who return to action to kick off the 2021 portion of the PGA Tour schedule in the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions, which tees off Thursday on Kapalua's Plantation Course in Maui.

William Hill Sportsbook lists Johnson as the favorite at 6-1 in its 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions odds. Other 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions contenders to watch include Justin Thomas (13-2), Jon Rahm (15-2), Bryson DeChambeau (10-1) and Xander Schauffele (10-1).

Now, Gehman has ranked his top 30 players for the 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions, and he is expecting a huge week from DeChambeau. The U.S. Open champion hits it farther than any player on Tour, and Kapalua boasts the widest fairways the players will see all year. He'll be able to grip it and rip it and could start 2021 with an emphatic statement.    

On the other hand, Gehman is fading Tony Finau, who hovers around the top of the leader board regularly and gets credit from oddsmakers but has only one career win to show for his efforts. Until he proves he can really contend, Gehman isn't sold, and he barely cracks Gehman's top 20.

Instead, Gehman is promoting a 35-1 long shot who finished last season on a tear and can make birdies in bunches. The Plantation Course yields very low scores, and with four guaranteed rounds, this  young American should rack them up. He could find himself hoisting his first Tour trophy when this event wraps up!
