The Coach is joined by featured sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The guys supply their top picks for MLB, the NBA and NHL for Tuesday, April 27.

As always, Mike provides a comprehensive NBA injury rundown. He has updates on Domantas Sabonis, LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and more. Larry spotlights SportsLine's Kentucky Derby coverage, including an expert with unique insider knowledge.

The Coach serves up the SportsLine Plays of the Day. In a "get-right" spot for the Bucks, he is advising to take them at -9 over the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. ET. In the NHL, he endorses the surging Penguins -105 over the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. ET

Mike is generating significant buzz, as he is on an 18-1 MLB run. His first pick of the day features another in-depth weather report. He is riding with the Phillies and Cardinals to go over 8.5 runs. First pitch is set for 7:45 p.m. ET, and Mike discusses in detail how the air density, humidity and wind affects the outlook. He is also going with the Red Sox +135 over the Mets at 7:10 p.m. ET at Citi Field. "Garrett Richards has struggled a little bit this year, but so has David Peterson," he says. "If you look at the xwOBA  for Peterson and Rchards, they are at 3.65 and 3.67. Peterson has a worse xSLG. Richards gets a benefit here as he is moving to a much better place to pitch. It's also a league shift."

Larry is targeting Jusuf Nurkic as his preferred NBA prop, as he has a favorable matchup in Blazers-Pacers at 7 p.m. ET. Nurkic is coming on strong in his last two games and Larry expects him to go over 13.5 points. In MLB, he is opting for the Nationals and Blue Jays to go under 8.5 runs, as Max Scherzer is in top form so far this season.
