A constant for the Arizona Diamondbacks has been the ability to lean on Zac Gallen in home starts. Already on the season he has two of the seven total Diamondbacks wins, with both wins at home. Good-looking rookie shortstop Masyn Winn is among a few regulars not in the lineup for the Cardinals against Snakes ace Zac Gallen, who has been borderline unbeatable at home for a few years. Since 2022, his 20 home wins are the most in the majors. Gallen hasn't allowed a homer in his past five starts overall and the D-backs have scored a combined 28 runs in his three starts this year.

Miles Mikolas had a good spring and is rolling in real baseball in two starts so far. He only allowed two runs in each of the starts. Six innings, no home runs allowed in each. Zac Gallen had a shutout against New York and then gave up three runs against the Rockies in a loss. He's still the best pitcher at home in the National League. Gallen does it again. UNDER.

Zac Gallen has firmly established himself as one of the best pitchers in baseball and was betting favorite to win the CY Young award for the majority of last season. Gallen has picked up where he left off and gets a favorable matchup against a Cardinals lineup that ranks 22nd in wOBA. Gallen has also pitched extremely well at home historically and I expect another solid effort and quality outing from the stud pitcher.
