It's a bad travel situation for the Broncos, but at least it's a late kickoff. Tampa Bay will be without its second best D-lineman, Robert Ayers, for the second straight week. I'm looking for another big game from Trevor Siemian against a Bucs defense allowing a 106.4 passer rating, which ranks 29th.
Suddenly, the belief with Denver is that anyone can man this team under center. Heck, they did it with Tim Tebow and a broken down Peyton Manning. Why not believe what you see from Trevor Siemian? In my estimation, Cincinnati was flat against Denver. The Bengals dropped a couple of interception opportunities and played safe football offensively. That's not the style of Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter. Jameis Winston's development will be key here. Look for him to have a big game and Tampa Bay's defense to keep the Broncos in check.
The biggest takeaway from watching the Broncos win their first three games is that a strong defense trumps everything else. That's also big trouble for a Bucs team that was stunned at home by the offensively-challenged Rams last week. Denver has a much better offense behind quarterback Trevor Siemian and has won the past three meetings as well. My simulations show the Broncos covering 62 percent of the time.
