    Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Zack's Analysis:

The Brooklyn Nets finally ended their six game losing streak by defeating the undermanned Toronto Raptors. The win does not look great on paper but it’s a step in the right direction for a Nets organization evaluating their young franchise. Look for the likes of Trendon Watford, Jalen Wilson, and Noah Clowney to continue to elevate their play with opportunities. Lay the number against an over achieving Wizards team.

    Alex's Analysis:

Don't look now but the Washington Wizards have won three straight games and have held all three opponents to under 110 points. While the Wizards haven't morphed into the Timberwolves overnight, they're playing better defense and a lot of that has to do with Richaun Holmes being inserted into the starting lineup. The 9 year veteran has held Nikola Vucevic, Domantas Sabonis, and Kelly Olynyk to subpar game and I believe he will do the same to Nicolas Claxton.

    Mike's Analysis:

Richaun Holmes has taken over as the starting center for the Wizards. Over seven games in his new role, he has averaged 10.4 rebounds. He has recorded at least nine rebounds in four straight games and he has three straight games with at least 14 rebounds. The Nets have the fourth-worst shooting percentage in the league, so Holmes should receive plenty of opportunities to reach this over.

    Jason's Analysis:

The Wiz has won 3 straight games - against all odds - with this big man leading the way - against all odds. He's become a fulcrum in some new looks (probably thrown together out of desperation) but is easily over this in 4 straight and should fare well against this Nets team. Holmes becoming their primary big and had 29 P+R at Chicago MON, after posting 29, 22 and 26 in the three previous games. I am absolutely playing him to get a double-double (can find at +350)

    Jason's Analysis:

The Wiz have been going to an old-school look lately with two bigs on the court (Holmes and Bagley) and it's been pretty damn effective. Nets are a middling rebounding team and I suspect Holmes cleans up rebounding again. His last 4 games: 15, 14, 16, 9. His minutes are way up lately. Averaged 10 min/G into mid March but seeing over 28 mins a bunch lately. See no reason why this team, with so little going for it, wouldn't lean heavily into these looks Wed.
