Noah Syndergaard is scheduled to pitch Sunday after pushing back this start twice during the week. I have major concerns with Syndergaard's health at this point after he chose to not have a MRI taken. Healthy or not, this is a tough matchup on the road against the best offensive in baseball vs. right-handed pitching. Joe Ross is starting to show meaningful home/road splits with a wOBA allowed that is 40 points better at home. With the Mets watered down lineup I have the Nationals winning 52 percent of simulations on their home field.

I'm backing Washington to avoid the sweep behind Joe Ross, despite the Mets throwing Noah Syndergaard. In my simulations, the Nats are winning 56 percent of the time.
