The Indians broke out of a prolonged slump at the plate in their 12-1 win Friday over the Rangers, and they will look to build on the performance Saturday against a starter who has been shaky of late. A.J. Griffin (5-3, 4.68 ERA) of Texas has a 6.69 ERA over his past eight starts, giving up five or more earned runs in half of them along with 14 homers allowed. He is 3-2 with a 4.79 ERA in six home starts. The Indians answer with Carlos Carrasco (9-6, 3.12 ERA), who is coming off a dominant performance but has had his share of recent struggles as well. Carrasco threw eight scoreless innings against Oakland for a 1-0 win in his last outing, but gave up 22 runs on 33 hits over his prior five starts, a span in which hew went 1-3 with a no-decision. Both of these clubs rank in the top 10 in MLB in total offense, and I think the lineups will have their share of production Saturday.I will support the Over here.
