PEACH BOWL -- Grab the Gators to avenge a 2015 bowl drubbing by Michigan in which the Wolverines did not let up.
PEACH BOWL -- If it seems like Michigan has some of its best players sitting out of the bowl game it's because they do, but I like it because it makes this price cheaper. Michigan has layers of players waiting to take over in this factory Jim Harbaugh is building. It's not quite Ohio State layers yet, but it's close, and its class is a notch above rebuilding Florida. Wolverines roll here, cover.
PEACH BOWL -- If we didn't know coming into the season, we learned a valuable lesson this year -- Michigan can't win games outside of its comfort zone. Luckily for coach Jim Harbaugh, the Wolverines will be very comfortable Saturday afternoon vs. the Gators. Even without Rashan Gary and Devin Bush, the defense will shut down a lackluster Gators offense, keep it a low-scoring affair and allow quarterback Shea Patterson and running back Chris Evans to pull away late.
PEACH BOWL -- I feel like we see Florida and Michigan play each other in bowl games every year. With Wolverines QB Shea Patterson announcing that he'll return for his senior season at Michigan, that gives the Maize and Blue a certain level of comfort in this game. I just struggle to see how on the defensive side of the ball, with a few stars sitting out as they prepare for the NFL, they will be able to keep up with a confident Florida Gators offense that does a great job of spreading the ball around.
PEACH BOWL -- Florida is flexing some muscle at the right time. Its offense finally caught up to the defense, top-rated in the nation, with three season-ending outputs of 500-plus yards. Making it easier on the O is Michigan LB Devin Bush Jr. and DE Rashan Gary skipping the game to R&R for the NFL draft. Gators coach Dan Mullen went 5-2 straight-up in bowls while at Mississippi State. His current team traveled for only four games this year and won them all. This matchup unfolds in Atlanta, the heart of SEC country.
