Last Saturday, Anthony Brown started at quarterback for BC and Bryant Shirreffs for UConn. Now, both are done -- Brown (leg) for the season, Shirreffs (concussions) for good. The Eagles, which ended their longstanding pattern of low-scoring games in midseason, have returned to it with two straight in the 30s. UConn games, on the other hand, tend to be points-filled. However, with Shirreffs passing the baton to David Pindall, the ceiling will be lowered. Projected rain could further curb the scoring.
