After just three wins last season, second-year Iowa State coach Matt Campbell took seven returning defensive starters and turned them into the stingiest defense in the Big 12, which has helped them go 7-2 ( 7-1-1 ATS) and stay Under in six of them. This is the Cyclones' final home game and light rain is expected with winds at 14 mph. Under is the top play Saturday.

I know Iowa State just pulled an Iowa State by losing to a team it could have beaten. But the BIG difference between WVU and OSU is defense. That means the Cyclones will score and they have the defense to actually get stops.

This game comes down to styles — Iowa State has won with defense being a big factor (by Big 12 standards), while Oklahoma State is an offensive machine. Give me the offense in this one. Oklahoma State knows that it needs to win out and get a ton of luck to make the Big 12 Championship Game, and has the offensive firepower to make this resemble last weekend’s Bedlam for the ages. While I love what Matt Campell, Kyle Kempt and the rest of the Cyclones have done this year, they won’t be able to keep up with the Mason Rudolph show.
