LSU +2.5 @ Florida Saturday, 3:30 p.m. (ET) Sure, LSU has been a bust, but the Tigers are getting healthier. Ace RB Derrick Guide (knee) is due back, as are another RB and a DE. This team was embarrassed by Troy and, while this is not your grandad’s LSU, the team is loaded with talent. Yet this pick is more about Florida. The Gators keep having to change course at QB, and Feleipe Franks, who had lost the gig, is back in because of Jack Del Rio’s broken collarbone. (Meanwhile, noted QB transfer Maiik Zaire seems buried.) Florida has few threats on offense and will have fewer here with WR Tyrie Cleveland (ankle) out. LSU remains an ATS winner on the road, taking four of its last five, whereas the Gators are on a 3-8-1 slide at home against the line.

Florida still plays musical chairs at QB, but the Gators get by because they can run the ball and play good defense. LSU is coming off an embarrassing loss to Troy. Expect both highly-compensated coordinators for the Tigers to have the entire playbook open.
