The last time these clubs played each other, the Bulldogs won 55-52. The biggest difference since then has been their inability to stop the run and the Hilltoppers’ ability to finally play defense. This total looks so large among all the weekend totals, but it's actually too low by at least 5 points. The drop-off from where it's supposed to be has to do with Louisiana Tech scoring only 24 points in an outright loss at Southern Miss last week. Prior to that they had covered the number and gone Over in six straight, including a 55-52 win as 2.5-point home dogs against Western Kentucky, which obviously flew Over the total of 69. QB Ryan Higgins had his best game of the season with 454 yards, 5 TDs and no picks. Perfect weather is expected for this game. Go Over.
