Who knows just how bad Southern Miss is, because its only wins have been against non-board teams. The Eagles lost all three times there was a spread on the board, failing to cover in the last two. There are more than 300 schools with a better rating than Southern Miss. Tulane is no bargain, either, but the Wave are still -6.5 on a neutral court and I don't give Southern Miss much for a home advantage. Waves coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. is at least playing good schools when they lose. The play is on Tulane laying a short price.
