Carroll is not having a good sophomore season but had two hits on Sunday in his last game and is starting to heat up a little. Perhaps more important, he will hit leadoff tonight for the first time in a few weeks. How about a Carroll walk off Frankie Montas, steal, wild pitch to third and sac fly to score Carroll in the top of the first? Very doable.

It's almost baffling how good Zac Gallen is at home and terrible on the road -- 0-2 with a 6.60 ERA this year. He also left his last start with a hamstring injury so who knows how healthy. That Cincinnati lineup is about the best it has been this season with the recent return of Jonathan India and today's activation off the injured list of outfielder TJ Friedl, who has yet to play in MLB this year off a breakout 2023.

Zac Gallen has had two consecutive poor starts by his standards and hasnt been great away from Arizona, however he gets to face a Reds lineup with a bloated 28.5% K Rate, who also rank 27th in OPS against opposing right handed pitchers. This would certainly qualify as a get right spot, and even away from the friendly confines of Chase Field, this number feels closer to Gallen's floor in this matchup.
