Week 8 Daily Fantasy Lineup Optimizer

This is a tough Optimal Lineup to figure out. On the one hand, the presence of Cam Newton, Marshawn Lynch and Matt Forte can make you think it is a cash-game lineup, one that has a solid floor but maybe not the huge upside that comes with flashier names like Devonta Freeman or Andrew Luck.

On the other hand, these wide receivers are a total shoot-for-the-moon proposition. Julio Jones has the highest floor of any $9,000 player, but he also probably has a higher ceiling than anyone in the NFL, based on his first three games. And the other two wide receivers, as you'll see, are hardly the safest options despite their solid matchups. This lineup has a chance to go off for a tournament-winning score, but the presence of Lynch, Jones, Newton and Forte should give it a high enough floor to throw out there in cash games too.
