Only four more days until the All-Star Break and yet another painful beat for me on Wednesday night. I thought Elly De La Cruz would swipe a base against the Marlins yesterday but instead he went 2-for-4 with two doubles. Right player to succeed but sadly the wrong result. Can we get back on track with a limited schedule on Thursday? Here's my best shot:

Thursday, July 10th MLB SGPx

  • Guardians ML + Jose Ramirez 2+ Total Bases (+178)
  • C.J. Abrams 2+ H+R+RBI + Nathaniel Lowe 2+ H+R+RBI (+154)
  • SGPx odds: +606 (odds subject to change)

Guardians ML + Jose Ramirez 2+ Total Bases

Cleveland just went into Houston and swept the hottest team in the American League. Heading into that series, they had lost ten straight games. Make it make sense! For all that the White Sox are improved this season over last, they're still a pathetic 31-62. The Guardians swept a three game series in early-April. Jose Ramirez is one of the best hitters in the league but he had been scuffling for a few weeks before last weekend. Since then, he has homered in 4 of 6 games, including all three in Houston. Though only 1-for-5 lifetime against Chicago starter Jonathan Cannon, I expect Ramirez to continue his torrid week with another multi-base effort on Thursday night.
