The Mexico Men's National Team will be part of the highly-anticipated 2022 FIFA World Cup, which officially gets underway on Sunday, Nov. 20. Mexico has made the last seven World Cups and has advanced past the group stage in each of those competitions. However, they've lost in the Round of 16 in each of those seven World Cup appearances and will be hoping that Tata Martino can lead them on a deep run in the World Cup 2022. El Tri will square off against Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia in Group C at the World Cup 2022.

Mexico will open with Poland on Nov. 22, followed up by a showdown against Argentina (Nov. 26) and a matchup with Saudi Arabia on Nov. 30 to conclude the group stage. Argentina is a two-time world champion but was eliminated in the Round of 16 in 2018, Saudi Arabia hasn't been past the group stage since 1994 and Poland hasn't made the knockout rounds since 1986.
