This is the first of five articles grading the 2023 NFL Draft wide receiver prospects, and today our focus is on the peripherals of each prospect heading into draft weekend. I use draft capital (first projected prior to the draft, then with the added context of draft position), the age of a prospect's breakout and a few other key factors to determine a peripherals grade, which when combined with the other four grading metrics provides an overall prospect ranking of the 2023 receiver class.

This feature is also part of a bigger breakdown of the receivers that includes my dynasty rookie rankings for the position as well as profiles on all the key rookie receivers. You'll also find in that main feature the five grading articles and an overall ranking of receiver grades based solely on my evaluations on a prospect level independent of team context, which is where the grading system diverges from the post-draft dynasty rankings.

Below, you'll find my grades for every rookie receiver, which include two Day 2 picks bypassing one of the first-round receivers. Let's break it all down now.
