When it comes to college football, there are few who deserve the "expert" tag quite like Barrett Sallee. The CBS Sports writer and analyst hosts shows on SiriusXM College, writes for CBSSports.com and appears regularly on CBS Sports HQ as well as countless radio shows across the nation as a guest.

Sallee debuted with SportsLine in 2017 and has delivered in a BIG way. Over the past two-plus years, he is 90-68 in his popular best bets column. Anybody who has been following him is WAY UP.

Now, he's turned his attention to the Week 8 odds from Caesars Sportsbook (see the latest college football lines for each game this week on our college football odds page) and is revealing his three top plays for Saturday. A parlay on these three picks would return around 6-1.

We can tell you Sallee says to back No. 8 Oklahoma State (+7) at Iowa State in a 3:30 p.m. ET matchup on Saturday.

"These teams play a very similar brand of football -- rely on defense, force turnovers and run the ball," Sallee said. "The world already knows about Cyclones star running back Breece Hall, but Cowboys running back Jaylen Warren is third in the Big 12 in rushing at 117.5 yards per game. This game has all of the makings of an old-school slugfest. A full touchdown spread seems a bit aggressive here."

Sallee has also found two other college football picks he loves, including a must-see play in a game where he says a slight favorite is set to roll to a convincing double-digit victory. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any college football picks.
