The PGA Tour stays in Texas this week for the 2022 Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio. The event will serve as the final tuneup for several big-name golfers for the 2022 Masters, which tees off Thursday, April 7 at Augusta National Golf Club. Defending champion Jordan Spieth is back in the 2022 Texas Open field, and he's listed at 14-1 to defend his title in the latest PGA odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Rory McIlroy (15-2) is the betting favorite, with Corey Conners (18-1) and Hideki Matsuyama (18-1) among the Valero Texas Open top contenders. The total tournament purse is $7.9 million, with $1.386 million going to the winner, making it imperative that you nail your One and Done picks this week.

Before locking in your own 2022 Valero Texas Open One and Done picks, you NEED to see what daily Fantasy sports pro Mike McClure has to say.

The One and Done format is growing in popularity. It has several noticeable similarities to NFL Survivor pools, with the main difference being entries are not eliminated with a bad week. Players pick one golfer per week and earn points based on their selected golfer's prize money for that tournament. Golfers can only be used once per season, and the point format makes nailing majors and big money tournaments critical.

McClure is a DFS legend with nearly $2 million in career winnings, and he's been RED-HOT on his PGA picks dating back to the PGA Tour restart in June of 2020. McClure uses his proprietary simulation model to analyze the field and crush his golf picks. In fact, the model is up over $8,200 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure's best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. In addition, McClure's model was all over Jon Rahm's (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the weekend, but the model still projected him as the winner.

This same model has also nailed a whopping seven majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!

McClure has been nailing his one and done PGA picks all year. He nailed Hideki Matsuyama's outright win at the Sony Open, then followed that up by picking Will Zalatoris at the Farmers Insurance Open. The result: Zalatoris finished in sole possession of second place, taking home $915,600. At the Waste Management Phoenix Open McClure's top two One and Done picks were Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka, who both finished T-3, one stroke behind the leaders, which was good for $434,600 each. At the Arnold Palmer Invitational, McClure listed Tyrell Hatton and Matt Fitzpatrick among his top one and done options. Both finished in the top-10, with Hatton finishing T-2 ($908,000) and Fitzpatrick finishing T-9 ($339,000).

Now, McClure has set his sights on the 2022 Valero Texas Open and just revealed his optimal One and Done picks. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge in their One and Done pool.

We can tell you that one of McClure's favorite Valero Texas Open One and Done picks is Corey Conners, who is currently listed at 18-1 to win the tournament at Caesars. Conners won this event in 2019, which earned him a spot in that year's Masters field, and he has a lengthy track record of success at TPC San Antonio.

Plus, Conners has climbed to No. 32 in the Official World Golf Ranking, and is coming off a strong performance at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play last week, where he defeated Dustin Johnson in the third place match of the Knockout Rounds. The 30-year-old Canadian also ranks No. 13 on the PGA Tour in strokes gained tee-to-green and No. 7 in strokes gained off the tee. With the amount of talent in the Valero Texas Open field, McClure thinks Conners could fly under the radar this week, making him an excellent one and done pick at TPC San Antonio.

McClure is also targeting another One and Done sleeper who's listed at 45-1 in the 2022 Valero Texas Open odds and is primed to blow up this week, giving you a HUGE return! Picks like these could be the difference between winning your One and Done pool or going home with nothing. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in your pick.
