Allan Bell is joined by sports betting experts Jon "Buckets" Eimer and Allie O'Neill on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball and soccer for Monday, Aug. 15.

Bell starts things off with the SportsLine Play of the Day, which is in soccer: Both teams to score (-150) in the Serie A match between Hellas Verona and Napoli (12:30 p.m. ET). "Napoli didn't lose a match this preseason - three wins, three draws," he says. "Both teams to score between these two teams has hit in four straight. Our man Brandt Sutton says it is going to hit in five straight."

O'Neill is up next with a play in MLB. She likes the Padres (-135) to beat the Marlins in the opener of their three-game series (6:40 p.m. ET). "These teams played each other in San Diego (earlier this season) and (Padres right-hander Joe) Musgrove, in his start, he went seven innings and only allowed two earned runs," Allie says. "The Marlins just got swept by the Braves and they're 7-17 since the All-Star break. But more importantly, they've scored three or fewer runs in 13 straight games. So when I see that, it's really just saying that I think the Padres, if anyone has a chance of getting to four (runs), it's them."

Eimer follows with three soccer plays. First, he likes Both teams to score (-135) in the Swedish Allsvenskan match between Hacken Gothenburg and Mjallby (1 p.m. ET). "When you want to bet BTTS, we look for great offenses and really bad defenses," he says. "With Hacken Gothenburg, we've got incredible offense and not just bad defense, we've got non-existent defense. This team has played 17 games so far this season, and BTTS has hit in 16 of those 17 games. … This is a team that loves to score and refuses to play defense."

In the Turkish Super Lig, Jon likes Over 1.5 goals for Fenerbahce (-130) in its contest against Kasimpasa (2:45 p.m. ET). "Kasimpasa played their season opener against Basaksehir and lost 4-0 in a game where Basaksehir looked like they weren't even trying and were able to score four," he says. "Fenerbahce is a top-three team every year that is going to decimate this Kasimpasa side today."

Eimer's final play is in the English Premier League: Over 2.5 goals for Liverpool (+100) in its game versus Crystal Palace (3 p.m. ET). "This is a must-win for Liverpool, who has to show up," he says. "It is their home season opener at Anfield, in front of their fans. I think we see a monstrous performance from Liverpool."

Bell wraps things up with The AB Pick 3. He likes Over 4 runs for the Rangers (-135) in their game against the Athletics (8:05 p.m. ET), Over 4 runs for the Dodgers (-145) in their contest versus the Brewers (8:10 p.m. ET) and Over 3.5 runs for the Braves (-165) in their series opener against the Mets (7:20 p.m. ET).
