Green Bay Packers
They lost two of their starting offensive linemen, but that's not the team's No. 1 priority; finding help for one of the league's worst secondaries is. The club could use a cornerback or another safety to go with Arturo Freeman, and look for it to address either with its first choice. It could use a linebacker, too, or a pass-rushing defensive end, but at some point it must start thinking of a replacement for quarterback Brett Favre.

Minnesota Vikings
Randy Moss is gone, so the Vikings are in the market for a deep threat at wide receiver. Sure, Nate Burleson looks good, and Travis Taylor could help. But they're short here, and they should use one of their two first rounders on the position. After that it's defense, defense, defense, and help for an offensive line that struggled.
Needs in order: WR, OL, LB, S
New Orleans Saints
Is it just me or is it time the Saints start looking for a quarterback beyond the inconsistent and careless Aaron Brooks? They won't start early. They have more immediate needs, and look to the league's 32nd-ranked defense for most of them. They could use a run-stopping linebacker, a defensive tackle or an effective cornerback, but they won't pass on a hard-hitting safety if he's there.
Needs in order: LB, DT, CB, OL
New York Giants
A year ago the Giants solved the quarterback position with Eli Manning. Then they added the wide receiver they were missing in Plaxico Burress and a key offensive tackle in Kareem McKenzie. But where's the power running back? The Giants could use one. They can use help on the defensive line, too, where they lost five players from last year's squad. One problem: They have only four picks.
Needs in order: RB, DE, DT, LB
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are always a step ahead of the competition, drafting for positions where they could use help in the future. Well, right tackle is one of them. Jon Runyan is beginning to fade. Wide receiver is another. Beyond Terrell Owens they have virtually nothing. The defensive line could use some depth, especially with tackle Corey Simon's future in limbo. With 13 choices they can afford to take chances.
Needs in order: OT, WR, DE, LB, RB
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers have the first pick of the draft, and the expectation is that they will use it on a quarterback, presumably Aaron Rodgers. After that anything -- and everything -- is possible. They need another wide receiver now that Cedrick Wilson is gone. A defensive lineman, maybe two, would help. So would a cornerback. You name it, they need it.
Needs in order: QB, OL, WR, CB
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks helped their defense through free agency, signing cornerback Kelly Herndon and linebacker Jamie Sharper. Still, you can never have enough -- especially when you're ranked 28th in that department -- so look for Seattle to address the defensive line and secondary. Of course, it might help to have a wide receiver who can catch a ball, too.
Needs in order: DE, CB, WR, RB
St. Louis Rams
Consider Kyle Turley gone. That means the Rams could use an offensive lineman, particularly a tackle. Safety is a priority, with the club down to Adam Archuleta as the only leftover from last year's team. With the contracts for defensive tackles Ryan Pickett and Damione Lewis expiring after this year, the defensive line is a possibility. The Rams have eight second-day picks so look for them to upgrade their dreadful special teams.
Needs in order: OL, S, WR, DE
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jon Gruden needs a running back like Tampa needs sunscreen. The Bucs tried to get by with Michael Pittman a year ago, and it didn't work. Now they have a shot at a premier back. They better take it. They could use a speed receiver, too, plus help for an offensive line that lost Cosey Coleman and Matt O'Dwyer. Remember, it takes two to tango here, and no back makes yards where there aren't holes. Having 12 picks will help.
Needs in order: RB, OL, WR, DE
Washington Redskins
Where isn't there a need? The Redskins were rock-solid on defense a year ago, but then they lost cornerback Fred Smoot. So there's a hole there. There's one at defensive end, too, where the Redskins must improve the pass rush. There's a need at wide receiver, where you can scratch Rod Gardner. And they could always use another tackle, or a linebacker to replace Antonio Pierce. The catch: They only have five picks.
