Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Emory's Analysis:

The Steelers will be potentially sitting both Ben Rothelisberger and Le’Veon Bell in this game. The Browns are not as bad as their 0-15 record may indicate. Look for them to avoid the winless season, or at least avoid losing by a touchdown or more.

R.J.'s Analysis:

The Steelers are likely to bench their starters in this game and avoid a key injury heading into the playoffs. There's a slim chance they can nab the No. 1 seed, but it involves the Jets winning in New England, so don't count on it. The Browns are desperate to get their first win of the season, so this is obviously their Super Bowl. Expect the Browns to pull out all the stops to avoid the 0-16 season, and with that, I'll take double-digit points against a team that won't be going all out.
