Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Josh's Analysis:

The Bills likely saved the job of coach Rex Ryan with a couple of strong performances after a disastrous start. Buffalo appeared to be a mess, but rebounded upsets of the Cardinals and Rams to get back on track. It played well as a desperate underdog, but I’m betting against the Bills as a touchdown-plus favorite against the moribund 49ers on Sunday. This is a letdown spot for Buffalo, and Colin Kaepernick will play better than most observers anticipate. Look for a close game until the end.

Larry's Analysis:

Colin Kaepernick is a better fit than Blaine Gabbert for Chip Kelly's offense, but he hasn't played in a real game in a year and even then he wasn't the 2012 Kaepernick who was so dangerous. The 49ers have given up 35 points per game over their last four and I expect the Bills to run all over them.
