I am actually looking forward to these fights in May. I can't  wait to see the Gina Carano fight, she seems to always have intresting fights. Ruthless Robbie Lawler, this fight has all the makings of a knock out. Kimbo Slice, our internet sensation, what I don't understand is why don't they put him against someone who is good and in their prime. It does not make sence to me, unless they are t ...(more)

Does CBS really think they can compete with other organizations if they are only going to show 2 fights.

I am sure they will get great rating for the this event because people are intereted to find out what Slice is all about, but I see them struggling in the future if they provide weak cards with few fights.

What do you think?

I thought he might win but that was a brutal beating that guy took.

What do you think the chances are the Anderson "the Spider" Silva ever moves up to the Light-Heavyweight division?

It would be interesting to see him take on the likes of Rampage, Liddell, or any other major competitor in that division.  What does everyone think?  Would Silva ever stand a chance of winning the Light-Weight crown?

kalib 'no guts' starnes, is a chump. he should not and most likely will not fight in the ufc ever again.  i have never seen a sadder fight in my life.  nate quarry mocked him in the last minute of the fight, which was funny, sad, and embarrassing all at the same time.  the guy went 3 full rounds without trying a punch, kick, takedown, or submission. what was this guy doing in t ...(more)

I tivoed it. I cant get enough of it. Matt Hughes is such an a-hole. I love the prefight interview where Matt says BJ didnt show any respect by fighting in that weight class. Matt tapped out so fast ...no heart. Loved it. After Matt Serra beat his ass and now BJ.. Hughes needs to just shut up.

Silva vs Henderson:

Misaki showed in their second fight how to beat Henderson. I think Silva will fight a similarly movement based attack, with the occasional strike. I think Silva's few flashy strikes will have more impact on the judges than Henderson's few takedowns which end up accomplishing very little on the ground.

Silva by decision

(POLL)

We have a fight Saturday worthy of watching.  Big time.  In another of the sweet dreams we received from the UFC takeover of Pride Fighting, we get the middleweight title unification bout: Anderson "Spider" Silva vs. Dan "Hollywood" Henderson.

Now, most Silva fights are not exciting.  While they are very entertaining (the point, I suppose ...(more)

almost as if he’s another one of the Pride imports content to walk through his contract and be done with it.

Technically he is finishing his wfa contract from when UFC bought them acquiring rampage, herring, machida, and salverry

I for one am thrilled to see more heavyweight matchups.  While I have all the respect in the world for some of the little guys, I really question the overall abilities of everyone below Middleweight.  I know GSP is incredible, but I really doubt many of his opponents.

Mir-Lesnar gives us an exciting matchup with a former champion on the rebound against a freak of nature with n ...(more)

I keep seeing too many comments about how bad all the past and upcoming fight cards are, so I would really l;ike to know what all the complainers would like to see, since you guys are such good fight promoters. Let me know, maybe somebody knows something the rest of us who are NOT complaining dont!

I can't wait to see Lesnar-Mir.  Frank is no slouch, so it should be interesting.

I am also amazed at the lack of boos for Tim Sylvia at the weigh-in.  For the longest time, even casual MMA fans knew he was a joke champion.  Now that the real heavyweights have arrived in UFC, I hope he quietly goes away, althought tonight may not be exactly quiet when he gets d ...(more)

Maybe they think they can get away with a lack luster card because it's overseas?  I'm not even talking about putting in bigger "names" , just more exciting matchups.  Aside from the championship fight, I'm not looking forward to much.  Liaudin may surprise some folks and give Davis a big run for his money.  The inconsistant Rivera is always a threat to take someone o ...(more)
