Anibal Sanchez had a nice June but it's been downhill since. He has a 7.84 ERA since the All-Star break. Cole Hamels ERA in July was 3.66 but his xFIP for the season is 4.56. He's been lucky on batted balls in play. Go Over.

Detroit's Anibal Sanchez has been lit up in four of his last six starts, and I see something similar happening Wednesday night in Texas. Back Texas and Cole Hamels to send the Tigers to their seventh straight road loss.

My projections see the Rangers beating the Tigers about 73 percent of the time in their Wednesday meeting, and by about two runs per contest for good measure. The Rangers are 27-5 when Cole Hamels starts against losing teams, while the fading Tigers are 2-8 behind Anibal Sanchez against losing teams.
