We've improved the Community platform for a better user experience, and for the best contributions and the most valuable contributors stand front and center. And who decides? You do. To go along with our enhanced Community Message Boards, we’ve added Blogs as our most recent upgrade! All-Star and Superstar level users will be able to create their own Blogs and ALL members will be able to vote and comment on other users’ Blog entries. On CBSSports.com Message Boards every post can be voted on as well. Popular threads and thoughtful contributions get the greatest exposure. If you're the person that creates the debate, whether on the message boards or blog entries, your stature in the CBSSports.com community rises. The higher you go, the more visible you become and the more freedom of expression you receive. Eventually, community leaders emerge. People just like you who have great things to say and who deserve a forum with integrity in which to speak. We know that there are sports experts everywhere. We know that opinions are like tongues - pretty much everybody has one - but on CBSSports.com we believe our fan-experts are far from ordinary, and they deserve a forum to conduct the debates of the day. Our goal is to enable thoughtful contributions without the usual clutter of flame wars, useless noise and chronic misbehavior found on other message boards. We encourage passion and discourage slander, so we designed a system that rewards valuable contributions and good citizenship and marginalizes malicious talk and rude behavior. In the end, it is you who decides what's good and what's not. You decide by what you read, who you read, how often you read and how highly you rate it. Your interaction in the community defines the community. To learn more about how it all works, read about our Profile Reputation System, or just get in and start to contribute. We think it's self-explanatory. If it's not, if you have questions or if things are not working, we encourage your feedback. Submit a post to our Feedback Message Board. As always at CBSSports.com, what makes it all work is you, so tell us what you think. Tell us where we got it right or where there's more work to be done. Good or bad, we can't wait to hear from you.
Sincerely, |
