This is a motivation game for the Rams. The top four teams get a double-bye in the conference tournament, and currently Rhode Island is tied for third in the A-10 at 9-5 and LaSalle is tied for fifth at 8-6. A win by La Salle would secure the tie-breaker between these two, as LaSalle shot 60 percent in routing the Rams in Rhode Island. LaSalle jumped out to a 42-22 lead at halftime. Not too hard to remember for the Rams. They get their payback Tuesday.

I usually don't look to lay points in a game with only 116 expected, but with Miami's best player, Ja'Quan Newton, out for tonight's game, points for the Hurricanes will be hard to come by. The Cavaliers are on a three-game losing streak and coming off an embarrassing loss to North Carolina. We should see a very focused Virginia team. The Hurricanes have revenge from last season's conference tournament on their minds, but just do not have enough firepower without Newton. Back UVA.
For some reason Oakland has Valpo's number or it's just a bad matchup for the Crusaders. I still have Valpo as the Horizon's top team and Detroit as the worst. In my power ratings, the Crusaders are 15 points better than the Titans. Now let's talk home court. Detroit has played 12 home games with a total attendance of 20,371. There is almost no home court value here. I like Valpo to rebound with an easy win over the Titans.
South Carolina boasts one of the top 5 defenses in college basketball, but offensively they're just a little above average. Vanderbilt likes a slow pace and will have their problems scoring.
Xavier will once again be playing without G Trevon Bluiett. Providence blew them out on Wednesday and Marquette should do the same.
