Kenny White learned the bookmaking business on his father's knee. By age 24 he was running a sportsbook and at 26 he was setting lines for Vegas' biggest casinos. A two-time winner of the prestigious Stardust Football Invitational, the originator of Player Power Ratings and the former head of the powerful Las Vegas Sports Consultants, Kenny arrived to Sportsline armed with new algorithms, ready to exploit mistakes in the betting line. He debuted with SportsLine in February 2017 and promptly went 51-33-2 (61 percent) on college hoops. Now get his winning picks in every major sport all season long! Akron comes off of a huge win over Ohio as a 15-point underdog to put the Zips in the driver's seat for the MAC title. Their starting QB, Thomas Woodson, will be available after serving his two-game suspension. Kent State is 2-9 and has allowed 40-plus points in three straight games. But this is the Wagon Wheel game, a big rivalry that carries extra importance because of Akron's chance to go to the conference championship game. This is Kent State's bowl game and I'm convinced Akron will have some sort of letdown. Take the points.

Michigan State returns enough players that know the Izzo way, which is all about defense and rebounding. With Duke having six freshmen among its top nine players, it will take time to form the continuity needed to score consistently against a Top-10 defensive team like MSU. Go Under.
When we talk about Tom Izzo, we talk about defense and rebounding plus Final Four appearances. Izzo has just one NCAA Championship but could have his most talented team ever with Miles Bridges, Joshua Langford, Nick Ward, Cassius Winston and freshman Jaren Jackson, who was a McDonald's All-American. Duke has six freshmen among its top nine players -- most of them are McDonald's All-Americans. This is Coach K's first attempt at trying to win a national title the Calipari way. I'll take the more experienced team that works on rebounding and defense, over the offense Duke is famous for.
There is only one team you can play in this game and it's Toledo. Get it now because the line will rise. The Rockets beat Northern Illinois and then had their letdown at Ohio University, or maybe they just ran out of gas. Toledo is tied with Northern Illinois for first place and must continue to win as it holds the tiebreaker. Bowling Green is 2-8 and just playing out the season. The Falcons' defense was torched for 582 yards last week by Buffalo. Toledo should have no problem getting 650-700 yards of total offense. Lay the points.
As bad as the Dolphins have looked the last two weeks, they are still 4-4 and have a chance to earn a playoff spot. It's Monday night and the entire league is watching, so I think we will get a great effort from the Dolphins. Jay Cutler has one more game under his belt after sitting out two weeks with an injury. Kenyan Drake did a nice job at running back last week versus the Raiders. Carolina has been up and down this year. The Panthers have scored only 40 points the last three weeks but have given up just 37! With the Carolina offense struggling and what should be a low-scoring game, the points are valuable. Take the dog.
