Game Recap
There was no repeat of the Boise State Miracle. The Georgia Bulldogs were simply too big, too fast and too strong for the team from paradise. Dodd: Dawgs' impressive finish won't deliver BCS title, but wait 'til next year

Key Players
Knowshon Moreno, Georgia, RB
The freshman had only 10 carries, but rushed for 68 yards and scored two touchdowns -- a 17-yarder and 11-yarder -- in the first quarter.

Jason Rivers, Hawaii, WR
It was a rough night offensively for Hawaii, but the senior receiver had 10 receptions for 103 yards in the loss.

Notes
  • Georgia: The Bulldogs improved to 24-16-3 in bowl games, including 5-1 in the past six games ... The only loss was the 2006 Sugar Bowl to West Virginia ... Since 2001, the Bulldogs are 72-19, second best record in the SEC next to LSU ... Georgia set a school record with the highest-scoring bowl game in school history.

  • Hawaii: Hawaii's 13-game winning streak was snapped ... Colt Brennan was sacked eight times ... The Warriors were the third non-BCS team to play in a BCS Bowl, joining Utah and Boise State ... Davone Bess, Ryan Grice-Mullen and Jason Rivers each finished with more than 1,000 yards receiving.
