EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) Seton Hall swingman J.R. Morris was suspended by coach Louis Orr before Thursday's game against No. 25 Villanova.
According to a statement issued by the school, Orr said Morris was suspended to "focus on his academic obligations."
Morris started 20 games for the Pirates and was averaging 10.1 points, third best on the team. He's the team's second-leading rebounder, averaging 5.8 a game and was the leader in steals at 1.8. He also led Seton Hall in 3-pointers with 30.
