2008 Division I coaching changes

 

The 2007-08 season isn't yet complete, but already some schools know they'll have new coaches running the show in '08-09. Keep track of which coaches are out and who's in to replace them as the coaching carousel goes round.

Need to put South Carolina on the list since Dave Odom is retiring at the end of the season. Haven't you heard dookie V insist that Bob Knight would be a perfect fit for the coaching job at USC? Ha, I don't agree, I think the Gamecocks need a young coach that can recruit and rebuild. Either way, South Carolina will be searching for a new coach very soon.

  As one of the few remaining PC fans in the world, I would like to say thank you Tim Welsh for your legacy of mediocrity.  You seem like a good guy, but a below average basketball coach.  Ten years but only 17 games above .500, not exactly success.  If only he could have schedule more games against the Northeast Conference.  It's tough to sit in the stands and hear teams ...(more)

El Presidente says we'll pay more than we ever have before.  By my estimation, that's about $10.50/hr.  Only high school coaching experience necessary and if you like to only recruit from Oklahoma and Missouri, you're our man.
